Is it worth getting a JD/MBA????

I've already applied to business school and am just waiting now to hear back from them....but recently I got the urge to also apply to law school is which is much more of a pain in my opinion. From what I've read, it seems to be worth it to pursue the JD/MBA because it opens up more doors. But I'd love to hear from folks who have a JD/MBA to see what their thought are. Thanks

    Also, is it possible to start the MBA program and apply for the JD/MBA in your first year of B-school? I know it works the other way around with 1L students.
